Le Sapin Bleu is approximately 40 Km South East of Clermont Ferrand in the Auvergne region of France.
Situated between the towns of Their and Ambert, Le Sapin Bleu is about 30 minutes from exit 2 of the A89 (Formerly A72) Autoroute and an easy days drive from most of the Channel ports or Amsterdam

Directions from A89 (Formerly A72). Exit autoroute at sortie 2 (Thiers Ouest) and head south direction Ambert. Pass through Courpiere and go about10 km pass through Giroux Gare then look for sign to Maison du Parc Livradois Forez and St Gervais sous Meymont. Take the right turn cross the wooden bridge and turn right. Cross railway line, pass the Marie and the Maison du Parc and continue through the village. Continue on this road for about 2.5 km (1.5 miles) then after first building on right turn right signed to Lauphant. Pass through this little place and climb the hill out. At the top of the hill pass a small house on left and go down to Le Sapin Bleu the first house on the left.
